From non-believer to christian. The facts speak for themselves.
I didn't know what I believed before I read this book. I had taken a college course on the history of Ancient Israel and Canaan and had a little background, but not much. I grew up in a southern baptist church but grew away from my faith when I went out on my own and joined the Marine Corps. I had serious doubts about what was "real" and what should be just taken by faith. Whether the bible was historically acurate or just stories was my biggest barrier to over come to believe. This book changed all of that for me. There are facts presented by learned people that can not be questioned. Investigation of the history of christ leads to the only possible conclusion: JESUS WAS THE SON OF GOD, DIED ON THE CROSS, AROSE FROM THE DEAD, WALKED AMONG THE PEOPLE, AND ASCENDED TO HEAVEN WITH THE PROMISE OF RETURNING AGAIN! How could I not believe after presented all the historical facts presented? The light at the end of the tunnel came on. Jesus was real, the stories were true, the bible is accurate. My doubts were answered and I am now a believer in the risen Christ!
